The wedding is on Tuesday October 15th at 3:30PM.

We will be arriving in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday October 13th and staying until Saturday October 19th.

TRANSPORTATION

You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the wedding and reception.  Please make plans to rent a car or use Uber.

CEREMONY

Important Information:

1. If you or your guests are driving from Waikiki, plan on it taking at least 30 minutes from your hotel room to Magic Island. It always takes a little longer than you think to get on the road. 

2. Leave early to find parking and not feel rushed.

3. If you or your guests need assistance, please call us at 808-923-4876

4. Do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.

Park anywhere in the large lot next to the boat harbor. 
Meet our team on the left side (closest to the boat harbor), in the corner where the pathway begins.
Our team will walk you out to the ceremony site.

Please meet at Magic Island between 3 and 3:20 as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30.  There is a short walk from the parking lot to the ceremony location. Rain or Shine.

​

After the ceremony we would like to have you throw rose petals in the air for a group photo.  You can stay for a picture with the bride and groom if you like, but then head straight over to the reception.

CEREMONY ATTIRE:

Hawaiian Shirt or Flower/Sun Dress. The ceremony will be on soft grass so please DO NOT wear high heels.

RECEPTION

Immediately following the ceremony please drive with your group to Ka Moana Luau.  Valet park and you will be reimbursed the $10 fee. Please arrive for the reception between 4:45 to 5:15 to get seated and settled in. The show starts at 5:45 and lasts until 7:45. Please mention that you are there for "Monica and Brion Unger Wedding Party" so you are seated in our designated area. ​

PERSONAL SAFETY

Hawaii may be paradise, but unfortunately we still have to deal with issues like theft. Follow these common sense tips to protect your property. 

​​

 

• Keep valuables in your hotel room or a hotel safe. When out for the day, keep essentials with you. Do NOT leave valuables in your vehicle.

• Keep an eye on your belongings while on the beach.

• If you must leave items in the trunk of your vehicle, place them there prior to arriving at your destination.

• Carry travelers checks instead of large amounts of cash. Divide your money and credit cards.

• Do not leave your hotel sliding glass door or screen open.
